The challenge

CODE University needed a film that went beyond traditional university advertising. The goal was to capture its identity and educational philosophy in a way that felt authentic, engaging and true to the student experience.

Scriptwriting & storyboarding

I developed the concept, wrote the script and created the storyboard, working closely with the university directors to refine the narrative and visual direction based on their feedback.

Filming & post-production

The production involved filming across multiple locations and managing over

2 TB of footage. I directed the shoot and edited the material into a cohesive

film, bringing together different scenes, stock videos, people and locations.

Finding the right voice

The professional voice-over service sounded too artificial to the university directors. I suggested having students narrate the script instead, giving the film a more natural and authentic voice. The stakeholders loved the result, which better reflected the university’s identity.
